Essendon Keilor college # 00861K located in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and is directly between Melbourne International Airport and the Central Business District.
The district in which the collage is located has a pleasant environment and offers students an interesting lifestyle. There are many sporting and cultural facilities within the area including gymnasiums, swimming pools, entertainment centres, indoor sporting centres, shopping centres, theaters, cinemas and restaurants.
There is 20 minutes away from Central of Melbourne with excellent system of public transport with train, trams and buses.
The College has three campuses, tow specializing in junior secondary education and the third in senior secondary education . Essendon Keilor College is a school operated by the Victorian Department of Education which is registered as a provider of courses for overseas students.
The two junior campuses offer a sound education for students in Year 7 – 10. The other campus at Essendon for Year 10 – 12 attracts many students from interstate and overseas, largely due to our range of course and subject offerings. It is a safe and friendly place where overseas students feel welcome and enjoy their education.

English Language Centre
Essendon Keilor College has its own English Language Centre on site. Extra “Language Support” classes are held to address the needs of International Students.
Counselling for Courses & Careers
All International Students receive individual counselling when selecting courses. Students can choose from an extremely wide range of subjects. When they are applying for university they are given the same personal counselling and all necessary assistance in completing required paperwork.
Extra-curricular
To help ensure students enjoy their school experience, International Students are encouraged to participate in camps, excursions, sport, drama and other activities. Special events are organised, with their teachers, for the International Students including lunches and dinners to celebrate significant dates in the calendar. Holiday activities are organised.
Multicultural Education Aides
International Students are well supported by staff. Multicultural Educational Aides provide extra support to those students who need to communicate at times in their first language. As well, the aides are available to assist with communication between the families and the College.
Reporting on progress
Each term an “interim report” is prepared by the teachers. A fuller written report on student progress is mailed to parents, with the appropriate translation, at the end of each semester (June, December). Regular communication with the school is encouraged.
Homestay
International Students stay with families in the local area. Homestay families are carefully chosen to ensure that the student has the best possible experience of life in Australia. Homestay families are given advice and assistance as is required.
