Ivanhole Grammar School # 00147C a multi campuses, co-educational school has been welcoming International Students since 1914. The Ridgeway Campus, the first campus was established in 1915, located 10 kilometers from the center of Melbourne in the suburb of Ivanhoe. The other campus, Plenty Campus was opened in 1990 in the suburb of Menda, just 25 kilometers from the city center.

At the school, every students is given the best possible learning experience, tailored to meet their individual needs and encompassing innovative academic programs, with an international focus. The students are offered both the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP) together with a broad range of learning and co-curricular opportunities. All students are encouraged to achieve a high standard and our students consistently perform well above the state average and proceed to their chosen tertiary courses at University, either in Australia or overseas.
For the international students entering Ivanhoe Grammar School can take the advantage of completing their ELICOS Program and mainstream education on the one campus at the one institution thus becoming part of the school community form the day they arrive. At the International Center is home to the schools NEAS accredited ELICOS Program. This intensive English Program is discretely designed to meet the specific Language needs of Secondary school aged International Students.
With the safe and friendly environment of Melbourne – the World’s most liveable city”, Ivanhoe Grammar School accepts responsibility for approving the accommodation, support and general welfare arrangements for students under the age of 18. Every International students enrolled at the School are required to have a guardian for the duration of their enrollment.
For accommodation , Ivanhoe Grammar School requires all International Students enrolled at the School, irrespective of age, to obtain homestay accommodation approved by the School. Students are not permitted to live independently or without adult supervision.
